Drone Pilot / Operator (full-time)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Drone Pilot / Operator to join our team. You will conduct aerial roof inspections using drone technology to assess property damage, support insurance claims documentation, and enhance our project assessment capabilities. This is a critical role in modernizing how we evaluate and document roofing inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct aerial roof inspections using drone technology
- Capture high-quality photos and video footage for damage assessment and documentation
- Maintain detailed flight logs and inspection records
- Upload inspection photos and relevant data into AccuLynx CRM following company protocols and timelines
- Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate damage assessments
- Operate and maintain drone equipment in good working condition
- Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes and technology utilization
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends during storm seasons is required
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 certification required or employer-sponsored within 90 days of hire
- Prior drone operation or aerial photography experience
