Job Summary
We are looking for sales persons with direct experience in the drone industry. We are hiring for general sales (public safety, industrial inspection, light agriculture, etc) as well as category specialists in the geospatial market, and in the drone services and/or DFR space (focused on docked solutions).
Duties
- Develop and own a book of inbound business
- Significant outbound sales efforts
- Business development, cultivating partnerships that can lead to fleet sales, distribution deals, service contracts and new programs
- Staying on top of products, interoperability with different software and 3rd party integrations, competitor offerings, etc.
- Effectively demo products to potential customers onsite and virtually.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up on customer satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally with all departments to ensure sustainable, efficient, profitable growth.
Skills
- REQUIRED 3+ years in the commercial drone industry.
- REQUIRED 3+ years direct B2B sales and/or business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Natural salesmanship with strong product knowledge in the field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
This position will have a minimum $60,000 exempt salary plus an aggressive monthly commission plan, with On-Target Earnings of $150,000 in the first year (un-capped).
